Hi,

I have to simulating turbulent natural convection in a vertical cylinder.

Can some one help in establishing a rough estimate of the distance of first node from the cylinder surface for buoyant turbulent natural convection?

I need this as am applying wall function.

I know about the tool for calculation on cfd-online website for forced convection.

Thanks in advance
