Hello,

I have got some 3-D results for the flow passing over a partial sphere. But I don't know how to visualize the 3-D pressure distribution on the surface of the partial sphere. Does anybody have any idea? I don't want to use some professional software to handle this problem. Currently, there are Matlab, Maple and MathCAD are available on my computer. But it seems they don't work for this purpose.

Thanks for any help!

There is a C++ toolkit available for 3D visualisation. It is close to professional, but it is free. Have a look at http://www.kitware.com

Hello,

MATLAB is very good for mesh, contour, surface, streamline plots. Which version of MATLAB do you have? I have plotted surface pressure for complete missile configurations using MATLAB. See help on "surf" in MATLAB. If you need further details or example MATLAB files, please contact me.

Good Luck, Uma
