hello,
can i use symmetry conditions for investigating turbulent characteristics for a subsonic 3 d circular jets ? Am referring to Anderson work which used symmetry conditions to investigate turbulent characteristics. Am bit confused since turbulence is totally chaotic and so how true it would be to provide a symmetric model

Axis-symmetric condition is valid for 2D
