Hi, Can anyone suggest a good interpolation polynomial (multi dimensional) for reconstructing the cell averages? I employ them for unstructured WENO schemes.
I have currently employed the basic series expansion. But, for multi-dimensions, it is quite unstable for strong shocks. I was wondering if some thing like radial basis functions were employed for the same. Thanks for your suggestions. DSS |

Radial basis functions have been used by Thomas Sonar on unstructured grids. Search for his papers.
