Dear Forum

We are facing a real complicated CFD problem. We need to simulate Aerosoles ( water droplets ) injected by nozzels into a high velocity airstrem ( not symetrical 60 m/s). We need to see were the droplets are taken too ( approx. distance is 1 - 2 m )

Now my question can such a task be solved by both fluent or and Matlab CFD. Since we learnt that the net needs to be more than 1.5 mio. resolution.

thanks

you might want to consider STAR-CD since this sounds very similar to fuel atomisation and evaporation in engines (both inlet manifolds and in-cylinder) which STAR-CD has excelled at for many years.
