wall boundary condition for k-w SST model

Hey everyone!

I read that the k-w SST model could be applied down to the wall without any specific treatment.

I would like to apply the boundary conditions for k and w at the wall in my finite volume code (cell centered). Therefore, I need to compute the fluxes at the boundary. I can set k=0, but what should I do with w? I read in an article that the boundary condition should not be applied directly at the surface (that makes sense, since there is the distance to the wall in the denominator).

My question: how should I handle the BC for w? Should I directly impose the value in the first cell? (instead of computing the fluxes, etc.)

Thank you very much! :D

Dear Friend;
in Menter's paper [1], you can find all of BC you need to apply for SST k-w.
and about inflow condition, paper of Spalart and Rumsey [2] can be certainly useful.
If you can not find them, Send me an email, I'll give to you this papers in which you can find your answer.

Haha thanks! I was only looking at Menter 2003. Did not even think about looking at the original paper from 94...
