Matlab

What is the "real" purpose of the why function in Matlab ? I think it is waste of computational memory.

Because Pete wanted it that way. <--- waste of time.

Mathworks needs to get rid of the why function in matlab.

Re: Matlab

I AGREE WITH YOUR STATEMENT. MATLAB AND MICROSOFT TEND TO USE MORE MEMORY THAN NECESSARY.

Re: Matlab

If the why function in MATLAB makes a difference on your "computational memory" you need to buy a computer.

Lighten up man, get a sense of humour.

Re: Matlab

Older versions of Matlab had a f**k function too, which was a built-in one. It took no arguments and gave the reply: "Your place or mine?". It was a sad day when it started also saying "This function is considered obsolete and will be removed in future versions". Then it was finally removed.
