Hi,

I am doing a 2D incompressible turbulent flow over circular cylinder simulation (Re=10000) using SA model. I would like to know what is the correct value of "nu tilda" (i.e turbulent scalar parameter) to be specified at inlet.

I have referred some books & papers ,in which some of them are suggesting that nu tilda to be 0.1 times nu (viscosity) at inlet. others suggesting that it should be 3 to 5 times nu (viscosity).

I would like to know whether this parameter affects the final solution and what is the correct value of nu tilda to be specified at inlet.

Thanks in advance.
