Unsteady Continuity Equation

Dear CFD Users, I am new in the field of CFD. Want to solve NS equations along with continuity equation for simulation of density flows. Would you please eloborate something on "unsteady variable desnity form of continuity equation". Regards, Sas.

Hi ! The question is how continuity equation (del u/del_x +del v/del_y + del_w/del_z =0)is different than the Unsteady continuity equation? In my understanding, the continuity equation should be same for steady or unsteady flow as this is just for mass conservation. How many diffeent forms of continuity equation can be? only for incompressible flow, continuity eqn is same (without the d(rho)/dt term as density doesnt vary with time)for steady and unsteady flow.
