self-induced velocity by doublet panel

Hi, This is a simple question, but please help!

Suppose I have a constant strength doublet panel at xy plane (the doublets pointing to the positive z-direction): (x1,y1)=(0,0); (x2,y2)=(1,0); (x3,y3)=(1,1); (x4,y4)=(0,1);

So the center of the panle is xc=0.5, yc=0.5.

I'm just wondering what's the self-induced velocity in z-direction by this constant strength doublet panle.

Thanks a lot

The self-induced velocity at the center of the panel is I'm asking for help.

Thank you.

You can find the value induced at the center of the panel by itself using Cauchy principal values.Check out any book on boundary elements to see how this is done.I remember for a source it was 0.5/pi.
