How to treat the source term in the 1d cylind.?
I am considering a cylindrical symmetry problem implying the underwater explosion by
U_t+F(u)_r=S(u) The RHS S(u) represent a source vector as -1/r*[rho*u rho*u**2 u(E+p)] where r is the radial distance from the origin and u is the radial velocity. Questions on this implementation are that fisrt, r is a variable with time or constant initially set. second, I am using the level set method to capture the interface location. In doing so, does the level set equation written in non-conservative form need to be modified in the cylindrical form as well? and so on... Sorry for mess. I am pretty newbie to this problem. Key question of mine is how different the one-dimensional plain FVM and the one-dimensional cylindrical FVM are. Best regards |
