Default From AutoCad to CFD

Hello guys...i am a student in a Univeristy of Greece but that s not the case.. Actually i m going to use CFD for my thesis..so i have a kind of problem..i dont know if it s possible to transfer models from AutoCad to CFD..And if it is , i would be grateful if sb could explain that to me..

AutoCad can export in iges file format which can be read by a lot of CFD programmes

I m talking about CFDRS..

I have AutoCad 2007 which as far as i can see,because i m not an expert,it exports in *stl , *eps , *dxx , *dwg , *dwf , *wmf , *sat and *bmp file formats...So what about iges files??

OK, sounds a bit weired that Autocad does not export iges files, your AutoCad must be A special version, any way if you can export in STL, then use it. I am not familiar with that CFD programme But you can check the formats that can be imported and check if any is produced by your AutoCad Good Luck
