determine the thermal entry length in pipe

i) may i know does FLUENT provides any default function to calculate the thermal entry length in a pipe subjected with unsteady flow?

ii) if FLUENT does not calculate the entry length, how do i determine the fluid flow is fully developed or in developing region?

thanks a lot

Re: determine the thermal entry length in pipe

Fully developed thermal entry lengths depend on the heat transfer boundary conditions of the pipe, i.e. constant surface temp, constant heat flux etc. There are many easy correlations in just about every heat transfer text
