Default Pressure at Inlet

Hi all,

I wonder how velocity is calculated for a specified pressure at inlet.

Total_Pres=Stat_Pres+1/2*rho*Velocity^2;

If I know the velocity, how can I calculate the static pressure? That means how the total pressure is obtained?

Actually what I need is a relation between static pressure and velocity at the inlet?

Thanks a lot for your contributions Selim

Hi Selim,

The relation between static pressure, total pressure, mach no at inlet is the isentropic relations.
