Hi all,

I´m running a transient VOF analysis (air/water) pipe flow and somehow can´t stop doubting my results. The main thing I´m not sure about is the global residuals that were discussed quite often in this forum. The thing is -in my case- in the first few time steps they change their orders to something below max. residual tolerance 10e-3, but in further computation I get some "peaks" up to 10e-2. Any suggestions on how to deal with that? Does that mean a completely "wrong" solution? I´m using standard k-epsilon, SIMPLE, AMG ,UPWIND, standard relax. factors. Time step = 0.0005 courant (close to) one. Any suggestions for me to get calm? Any experience in multiphase pipe flow?

Thanks in advance,

mx
