What are the differences between conservation equations like mass, energy and transportation equations like k-e,k-w? Do transport equation mean that there is a type of conservation between the scalars like turbulence kintetic energy and dissipation?

I guess that you need to see the classification of the partial equation representing the property of the hyperbolic equation.

And the Burger's equation is also a good example.
