I'm looking at using SpaceClaim for assisting with modifying geometry for CFD model preparation. I currently use ANSA, but SpaceClaim shows some features that make geometry manipulation and cleanup seem far easier and more efficient.
Question: How far can SpaceClaim replace elementary ANSA geometry functionality (Fix cracks/leaks, defeature, detect fluid volumes)? I want to push usage of SpaceClaim as far down the chain as possible, and save maximum possible time on cleanup/geometry preparation tasks as compared to the current traditional cleanup methods. |
