chemical equilibrium
Hello! Does anybody know, where I can find and download a source code for calculating the chemical equilibrium and the products of the combustion process? I am interested in the hydrogen combustion so any code specified for this fuel would be better.

Thank you in advance

Re: chemical equilibrium
Hi George,

Pope's CEQ code works well and is a general equilibrium solver:

I have problem opening the .tar file. Can you send it to me to maybe in .rar or in .zip format? Thank you.

What about the fortran code of Ferguson called ECP. What is your opinion about it? And there is another code called Chemq by Rakopoulos et al. Any comments for these codes? They are both for hydrocarbon, but I would like to find one for hydrogen combustion, so that it would be faster. I want to use it for a CFD code, so time is an important factor for me.

Thank you again

I think the file is corrupted. I tried & could not get it to unzip, no matter which tool I used, under WinBlow$. I'll try again under Linux.

Re: chemical equilibrium
If anything fails you can try cpropep

Its used by Fluent for non premixed combustion modeling so ist must be good :).
