Need help to mesh Wankel engine

Hi, I have a problem very similar to a Wankel engine. So I have got a moving mesh that changes size and shape as the geometry moves. I was wondering if its more efficient to do it in CFX or Fluent. Also, any tip or tutorial on how to mesh it, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I did something similar years ago with StarCD, which should be a suitable code for this type of application.

The biggest problem is not the general mesh movement, but the handling of the gaps between the rotor and the fixed wall.

Sam,

My first reaction to your message is "why are you not using Star for this application."

However, since you are not, for advanced applications like this call ANSYS for advice.

I only have license for Ansys and Fluent, no access to Star. yes, my main concern is compressing the grid at the seal points.
