RNG (k-εmodifications)

hi all,

I would like to ask about the modifications of RNG. In some papers the modification is on the c1 constant and in others on the c2 constant (in the turbulence dissipation rate).

What is the difference? When do we use each modification?

thank you

Re: RNG (k-εmodifications)

There are different versions of RNG models with many modifications, depending on the type of the flow. Some also keep these constants constant and others use an equation for calculating them each time.

PS: Are you doing research in a greek university?

The paper can give you some insight how to modify model constants.
