HYDRAULIC JUMP
 

Dear friends,

I am interested to study the fenomenon Hydraulic Jump by using a circular jet onto a flat plane and by using my own program. I would like to know some actual references about the Hydraulic Jump in circular jets. My purpose is validate the code source.

Hi, I did some work for my Master Thesis on the Circular Hydraulic jump. I did both experiments (film height measurements and flow visualization) and modeling (1D analysis using Runge-Kutta method) to study seperation phenomena near the jump.

Part of the part was published a few years back in: International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer Author: Achuth Rao and Jaywant Arakeri.

I dont remember the exact journal volume number right now. Let me know if you want more info.
