What Post-processor is the best for 2D plots?

I am solving 2D compressible flows. Output files are in text format. For post-processing, I am currently using the OriginPro 7.5. It is pretty simple to plot various pictures. But I am not loving it much due to its lower quality compared to others.

Is there any good post-processor you use for 2D? This post is just to ask you all the use of any post-processor to refer.

Thanks in advance.

Paraview is good, as long as you can write the files in the right format. GMV also works very well.

Dear Jinwon,

You can also try VIGIE and Visit. They are free as well. But you need to have a look in to the formats.

Apart from paraview, vigie, visit, also check out Mayavi, xd3d.
