Default Exit of the diffuser straight?

cfdnoob is on a distinguished road
The exit of a diffuser needs to have a atmospheric pressure again.

This means that the end section of the diffuser has to be horizontal (ive been told) is this so that dp/dn is zero (neumann?) and the boudnary conditon is met?
