Matlab example code for Upwind technique

Hi,

I am trying to solve a 2d convection equation using Finite Difference and would like to use the upwind technique. Could any one please help me with example code written in Matlab.

This is the second most simple problem to program in CFD (the most simple one being the 1D convection equation). Surely you can do it yourself.

May be...but I am an electrical engineer with some background in Finite Difference. I would just like to see a simple example ( or an example from book) to get the initial idea of how to write...Please let me know... Thanks

just wondering my friend , Did you born expert in CFD ?

Every one was in a time a beginner , then he gains skills ,and boof , an expert

so if u know the answer surely He would appreciate your Help Personally I dont know

I am off the opinion, that you learn alot better if you do the effot to look up things, try it out, fail many times, try again. And no, you don't have to be a CFD expert for this problem.
