Default One dimensional compressible FV code

I am looking for a one dimensional FV compressible code (algorithms such as SIMPLER or SIMPLEC or PISO). I am trying to calculate pressure drop of flow of ethylene at 3000 bar and 60 degC. In such a condition, density is 0.6 kg/litter. Therefore, I need to connect CFD code with a thermodynamic library. Such a flow can discharge to a very low pressure i.e. 10 bar. So I can not consider incompressible approach.

I appreciate if any one can send me a code or help me to fine one.

Interesting problem. I assume the fluid will not go through the two-phase rigion(temperature stays low). I have a 1d density-based code that can run with real fluid property if there is no phase change.

Critical temperature for ethylene is around 50 degC. So at 60 degC it is supercritical. The problem is very interesting and has important application in LPDE process plants.

A more interesting problem is when ethylene expands through a nozzle, where at upstream ethylene is gas , but at throat can be two phase.

Although I believe pressure based solvers are the best for the problem. However, I would be happy to take your code for this challenge.

If you are pretty sure it will go through the 2-phase dome, maybe it is not worthwhile to look at my code since it does not have that capability at this time and it is also difficult to use.

Hi,

Can I get 1D code for compressible flow?

Thanks
