definition of TKE and its relationship to buoyancy
In wiki, TKE is defined as "Turbulent Kinetic Energy (TKE) is the mean kinetic energy per unit mass associated with eddies in turbulent flow. It is a concept used to assess what contribution to buoyancy is brought by turbulence." I don't understand how TKE can be used to assess the contribution to buoyancy from turbulence. Could somebody explain that to me, please? Thank you very much.
