Hi,everybody, I want to know how to apply reflective boundary conditions on generalized coordinates. I solve for 2D Euler equation with a curved solid wall. i don't know how to apply reflective boundary conditions on the curved wall in the generalized coordinates.

In such cases, the normal velocity needs to be set negative value. The finding of the normal velocity is questionable. You can find such answers by CFD books.

Look for the article " solution methods in computational fluid dynamics " by Pulliam. It might be available on the NASA Technical server. He has a brief discussion on one way of implementing the wall boundary condition. Also the V2 of Hirsch, discusses the implementation. For high order wall boundary condition, look for the paper of Tam and Dong or Hixon. These two papers discuss the implementation of wall boundary condition, in the context of high-order schemes, used in computational aeroacoustics.
