Hi, I'm Ray
I'm trying to simulate the Cylinder flow like below URL < URL : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hj-COdWOafU > But, The simulation i made does not have vortex like that. I had changed values of U, V, Nu so many times .. but still same result. Anyone can give advice? hereby, please see the attachment for this simulation. The folder attached has folders 0, constant, system. Best regards, Ray |

1) Your Re should be higher than Re > 47
2) Create a very small deformation in your external domain, Instead of perfect Rectangle external domain. |

Why would anyone want to do DES at an Re of 405? Also, note that the vorticity dissipates, which is incorrect. Possibly the numerical dissipation is too high, or the grid is expanding.
