secondary flow in centrifugal compressor

What are the effect of the centrifugal force and the coriolis force acting on the boudary layer and on the core flow in the inducer of an impeller passage?

What are the effect of theses two forces in the second part of this impeller passage?

The fluid is compressible.

Thanks for your answer.

I am not quite sure what is the question, since secondary flow in a rotating flow is actually the name used for the Taylor vortices (e.g. in the Couette Flow between rotating cylinders).

Do you actually have Taylor vortices in your compressor?

i'm sure that a book in you library on centrifugal machinery has a description of what you want. you can also try to find Budugur Lakshminarayana's book ('Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer of turbomachinery' or something like that) which has a good descriptions and expalnations of what you ask. i just can't remember exactly what they are.
