High order FVM scheme ....

Hi all,

I'm very interested in developing a high order finite volume scheme ( order 3 or 4) for incompressible flows on unstructured meshes.

Could you give me some references ?

Thanks in advance.

Re: High order FVM scheme ....

high order unstructured schems is basically difficult to implement due to extended stencil, but there are some compact methods.

i suggest cubic spline based methods (both field and its derivatives are considered to construct method), for this look at recent publications of Feng Xiao (in JCP and CPC),

e.g. :

Unified formulation for compressible and incompressible flows by using multi-integrated moments II: Multi-dimensional version for compressible and incompressible flows, JCP

CIP/multi-moment finite volume method for Euler equations: A semi-Lagrangian characteristic formulation, JCP

A 4th-order and single-cell-based advection scheme on unstructured grids using multi-moments, Computer Physics Communications 173 (2005) 17â€"33
