Hi guys,
I thought of preparing table for different turbulence models for reference. I have attached it. I think it will be useful for everyone just for quick review. Rate the models in range 0-5 . 5 being the best turbulence models properties.xlsx |

Actually, I see some issue in the table to be better addressed...
For example, LES is NOT a turbulent model but a really different formulation that give you variables that are locally filtered. The SGS turbulence model is specific to that. RANS is a statistical formulation that give you statistically steady variable. The turbulence model should account for that. URANS, DES are other formulations So, you can not rate this non-homogeneous apporaches |
