Can someone recommend some papers on LES/DNS simulations of compressible flow?
Thanks Shuo |

From the top of my head:
Simulation of Two-dimensional compressible turbulence: Farge, M. and Sadourny R., 1989, Journal of Fluid Mechanics, n. 206, p. 433. For 3D I have no references. You could do a search, even on Yahoo or Google, or search in some journals, such as J. of Fl. Mech, (above) , etc.. |

Look for papers by Coleman or Adams in JFM. There are also many DNS/LES studies of turbulent combustion and aeroacoustics in which often compressible codes are used.
