Hi all,

Somebody asked for a description of the Patran Neutral file format some time ago (2004). This information seems to be very hard to find online, so I thought I could simplify things a bit by posting one URL here.

Not the most authoritative source imaginable, but anyway: http://www.ansys.com/products/icemcf...ces/patran.htm

Enjoy!

After a renewed search on the net, using some of the buzzwords found in the first document, I found two additional descriptions:

http://hikwww2.fzk.de/hik/orga/hlr/A...ats_topics.pdf http://www.g-boege.de/english/makros...ual/PATRAN.htm

Your mileage may wary.
