I want to analyze the temperature distribution in a parallelogram plane. I have to create a rectangular shaped element which can go on by deviding them to squared elements.
would you please help me to convert this parallelogram to rectangular form ?! I am using C++ to code this problem.but I don't know what algorithm should I use ? I initially know that some mapping may be useful.but I couldn't derive a good mapping. Best Regards |

Look for bilinear transformation. Simple, and will do the trick (if I understand what you wish to do).
