coupled or decoupled
I've finished a code for supersonic viscous problem based on Menter SST two-equation turbulence model. The turbulence equations are coupled with the flow equations. But another is to decouple the turbulence equations with the flow equations. So the problem is: in the energy equation. Turbulent knietic energy k is included in the eneggy E. How to treat the Jacobian matrices and right and left matrices? Regard k as a constant or just neglect it?

Re: coupled or decoupled
Dear Pandaren,
Look into Wilcox's book for the k-w turbulence model to get some ideas into how to handle the jacobian matrices. Regards, Ganesh |
Re: coupled or decoupled
Thanks very much. Do you mean the book <<turbulence modeling for CFD>>? In which chapter? Would you please mail me this ebook? And how about the Left and Right eigen matrices with TKE contained in energy E? Would you please mail me the matrices too? Address: chenti0218@sina.com.cn
