Hi all... Could someone suggest a reference for measurements in a simple sudden expansion swirling axisymmetric flow to use for validation?
THANK YOU maria |

Hello Maria,
You will probably find such a test case in the ERCOFTAC database, I know they have studied swirling flows in conical diffusers and sudden expansions. They may also have combined both. As far as I know, registration on this site is free. http://cfd.mace.manchester.ac.uk/ercoftac/ Good luck, Felix |
