I know that CFD is used for aerodynamics, combustion, multiphase flows etc.

I was wondering if someone could point me few newer fields where CFD is being used or could be used.

Climate modeling, ship or submarine hull design, astrophysics (star interior simulation), sediment transport (erosion), blood flow in heart, arteries, veins, capillaries, air flow into, through, and out of functioning lungs, dynamo (electric generator) temperature control, microchannels (lab on a chip for genetic screening, drug analysis), ... ... ... ... .
