zubs New Member Join Date: Jul 2012 Posts: 2 Rep Power: 0	Hi, I am trying to simulate the heat flux of a heat exchanger with forced convection. It consists of cylindrical tubes in crossflow which are positioned in line. The distance between two tubes is 5x diameter For one case the Reynolds number for the flow around the cylinder is Re = 750. For a second case it is 200. My question is if I should use a turbulence model or simulate a laminar flow. As far as I know the wake would be turbulent. So the influence on the next tube is significant.
