high positive linear source term using FEM

Hello!

I have a question about finite element method (FEM) solving Coupled Navier-Stokes equations.

The pair of elements I am using is Q2/Q1 for velocity/pressure respectively.

I want to solve the velocity vector and the pressure and I have a positive high linear source term, called T*u, where u is the velocity I want to solve.

I can solve (both implicity and explicity) the coupled system with FEM without any stabilization when the value of T is not very big. But when T has a big value, I don't get the correct solution.

The mesh is really fine, so I don't know if the only solution I have is to use stabilized FEM.

If the solution is this one, could you recommend me some article about it. I have something from Huges and Codina.

I would be really gratefully if you could give me some help.

Thanks in advance and best regards Isi
