Hello every one I need to calculate hydrodynamic forces on offshore platforms considering the effect of air pockets being entrapped between structure and water. I have to consider compressible two phase flow for this problem. I also need to be able to construct surfaces as well with help of VOF algorithm. I am looking for a FORTRAN code which is able to do such simulation. Do I need to do parallel computing for such simulation or can I do such simulation on regular dial core CPU? Also let me know how good is FLUENT in performing such simulations. If you already developed such code please let me know. I am willing to purchase your code up to $1000.0 I was going to buy such a code from Oakridge Lab but since they don't provide support I would rather buy it from some body who himself developed it.

try cd-adapco's STAR-CCM+..
i also use STAR-CCM+ VOF features (but incompressible) for hydrodynamic analysis of marine vehicles.. |
