hi !
i want to modeling 2d heat conduction with heat convection...
i have exact velocity in all nodes, so i gain slope of velocoty to find out where is the upwind point.
problem is here that i cant understand which one is upwind and which one down wind.
like this figure...how can i know upwind point is A or B ?
thanks alot.

if the velocity vector is directed from B towards A, then B is upwinded.
