Having problem in Tecplot 360, movie

Hi,

I have been using Tecplot 10 for a long time and was quite satisfied with it but unfortunately have to move to 360.

For making animation in tecplot 10, I could easily load a number of snapshot and then:
tools-->animate-->zones

and that's it.

But I can not do the same thing with Tecplot 360.

I'd appreciate your help.

Are you sure? I used 360 some times ago to make animation and it worked.... But I loaded multiple files to make the animation

I did the same thing. I loaded several files (basically different moments from the same flow field), but I do not find the option for making animation.

I do the same thing on my old computer which has Tecplot 10 and it works very simple as I said.

Probably they put that option some where else but I do not know where that is?

is that possible for you to tell me what steps I should take to make the animation after I load the files?

As in the older version, I have several zones and going to animate I can see the sequence of zones......

but I can not see. it is not activated in my 360.

Maybe because they are all named zone 1 (although the name of files are 1,2,3,...) they are all recognized zone 1 in Tecplot. In Tecplot 10, it was not a problem and the header of all files were the same. It automatically recognizes it.

What header do you use?

Actually, I got that.

I have to add strandid=... solutiontime=... in the header.

yes, you have Tecplot to recognize as different zones
