Is there anyone who have any experience with volume averaging as applied to flow in a porous medium?
Could you please explain this. |

You should check out "The Method of Volume Averaging" by S. Whitaker. Goes through the fundamental derivations of much of the volume averaging method.

this thesis was done by a colleague of mine, it explains the volume averaging method applied to porous media and also has a number of sources if you want to go into more detail |
