CAD to gmsh

hello to all :D:D
I'm a beginner using software like opemfaom and gmesh and this is my first simulation.
I would want to know if there is a simple manner to import a cad file to gmsh to create a the mesh that then i'll export to openfoam.
Maybe a video source would be great!!
Hope i've been clear because my english is not very good.
Thanks for help.

Gmsh imports STEP, IGES and BREP files thanks to OpenCascade.

You need to compile your copy of Gmsh with OpenCascade enabled
I have not done that personally but you will need to read the documentation
