Is there any institutions still working on solving N-S equations?
Hello guys,
yes, Im wondering this, As it is known to us that the basic N-S equations can be solved by coupled|segregated|projection|vortex method. etc. But now, is there any institutions still working on developing new solving algorithm of N-S equations? Or working on developing new schemes? Like upwind, QUICK, fourth order scheme. etc. Or developing new algorithm to make the algorithm more conservative, bound? Like this algorithm: MULES in OpenFOAM. Very great method to keep variable to be bounded. Im not working this, I focus on two-phase flow. But Im interested into these very basic things. Thanks. |
Yes, there are. Email me if you need more details.

I am from Tech Uni of Denmark. I would not tag this as a 'new-algorithm' but well, I am kind of making picks from the shelf and trying to make a new solver for a specific application.
