TVD schemes: 2 questions
Hi
It's been proven that TVD schemes are convergent. Does this imply that simulations using these schemes will always converge even for flows that are inherently unsteady? Also my understanding is that TVD schemes are designed for solving Euler equations. If I were to extend it to solve the Navier-Stokes equations can I lump the diffusion terms into an source term like the case of 2-D cylindrical coordinates? Thanks Shuo |
