afeef0096 is on a distinguished road
hi, during my 5 years of bachelor I have studied, thermodynamics ,fluid mechanics ,heat transfer, and thermal hydraulics of nuclear reactor " mostly two phase flow" . and Modeling and simulation " Numerical scheme and how to solve PDE's .

My question is , is CFD engineering worth it ? on a money wise and job availability , second one can I as a nuclear engineer work as a CFD engineer/analyst if not, is a masters degree in mechanical engineering can do a difference ? or computational engineering ?

At present, if you think about a work in industry they requires mainly a knowledge of commercial CFD softwares. It appears a relevant required background but you can learn if you have already good CFD basis.

I know people who don't have any background in engineering build themselves a career doing engineering CFD (using commercial CFD codes of course). So I know yes it is possible.
