Perturbation in a fluid at rest

Hi Dear Friends,

Let us suppose that I have a fluid at rest in a box, and that at time t>0 I apply a perturbation on the system by using a force of the type f(t)~1-cos[2*pi*(t-0.02)]. My code, then, give me the answer. The question is: Could someone give me references on this type of problem.

The Stokes problems are similar to this except that the oscillation is on the wall. Also based on simple analysis using perturbation methods you might be able to obtain an approximate solution to this problem.
