Hello all,
I have question concerning meshing of the aircraft.
Is it necessary to refine wake region of the aircraft at higher angle of the atack ? Does it have huge impact on the lift and drag coefficient ?
I noticed that in all studies engineers dont refine wake region or it is only small mesh refinement.

To get the correct prediction of wake and boundary layer separation it is better to refine the region and to maintain the required Y - Plus value.

Of course Y+, in my case need to be close to 1 thats why i wonder if i can reduce number of cells in wake region.
Is there any best practice book or article concerning meshing in external aerodynamic ?
