Simulation of fluid mechanics

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know what simulation software to learn fundamentals of fluid mechanics for beginner student of mechanical engineering?

Is potential (inviscid) flow still considered part of a mechanical engineering fluids? It was in my day, way back in the early 1990's.

If so, then maybe it's worth looking at our easy-to-use SymLab Panel Flow add-on. Note we offer a 50% academic discount.
